Well, Jayden Daniels’ debut was as spectacular as it gets, despite the fact that the Washington Commanders lost. It’s time to watch how he performs in the Miami Dolphins match.
Monday and Tuesday are the Commanders’ comeback days to practice before they depart for Miami on Wednesday. Prior to their encounter on Saturday, the two teams will have a combined practice on Thursday.
The game begins at 7 p.m. ET, and according to 506sports, Chick Hernandez and Brian Mitchell will be on the call. It will also be televised on the following TV channels:
- WUSA (CBS/9 – Washington)
- WSOC (ABC/9 – Charlotte)
- WTKR (CBS/3 – Norfolk VA)
- WRLH (FOX/35 – Richmond VA)
- WZBJ (My/24 – Roanoke VA)
- KHII (My/9 – Honolulu)
In Miami, it’ll be Steve Goldstein and Kim Bokamper on the call:
- WFOR (CBS/4 – Miami)
- WPTV (NBC/5 – West Palm Beach)
- WINK (CBS/11 – Fort Myers)
- WFTV (ABC/9 – Orlando)
- KHON (FOX/2 – Honolulu)

Fans who are in the market can watch the game via streaming on the Washington Commanders app, NFL+, Paramount Plus, and whichever streaming service they are using if they have access to local channels. Fans who live outside of the market can watch the game on NFL+, which is virtually a lifesaver at this time of year.
It’s reasonable to assume that Daniels will start and participate in the game once more. His impressive toss to Dyami Brown on third and six and his touchdown run on third and three on Saturday marked the highlights of his debut. The enthusiasm surrounding the rookie’s first official start in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is only increased by the fact that both plays demonstrated his skills both on the ground and through the air.
Of course, though, Daniels isn’t the only factor. Injuries kept a few Commanders players out of the Jets game, most notably rookie offensive guard Brandon Coleman. It will be interesting to see if he trains or plays this week along with the other injured players.
As the 2024 season approaches, this is all just another significant step in the right path.
